I am still as strong today.
Joshua 14
11 “I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.”
Ephesians 6
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Caleb followed the Lord wholeheartedly.
Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me.
I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions.
So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.’
Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old!
I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.”
Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance. Joshua 14:6-7, 9-11, 13
Exploring Canaan 45 years earlier.
Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.”
And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.” Numbers 13:30-32
The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them?” Numbers 14:11
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron:
As for your children that you said would be taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land you have rejected.
I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me. They will meet their end in this wilderness; here they will die.” Numbers 14:26, 30-31, 35
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
The Lord said, I am with you, I will strengthen you and help you (Isaiah 41:10).
On my own I am weak, yet still as strong today in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions.
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
Real men pray. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26 NIV MIT
""‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty" (Zechariah 4:6b). Lord, fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May you be blessed with God's Word.
Maraming salamat.
