Deuteronomy 17
10 You must act according to the decisions they give you at the place the Lord will choose. Be careful to do everything they instruct you to do.
John 15
16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
You must have listened to the song, "I Can Only Imagine" or have seen the movie.
The Lord our God is sovereign.
“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
We are the work of His hand.
Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8
He chooses whom He will have mercy.
He chose us through His Son Jesus.
to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. Ephesians 1:4-6
When I first looked through the lyrics of the above-mentioned song, in my mind it sounded like a hymnal.
The life of Bart Millard delivers a powerful message of hope with those who seek reassurance in the face of the insurmountable.
You must have also heard the hymnal, "Blessed Assurance".
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of his Spirit, washed in His blood
In the face of the insurmountable, we have the blessed assurance in Jesus Christ.
Jesus chose us and appointed us so that we might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever we ask in His name the Father will give us.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference. - Max Lucado
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.” Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. (John 15:1, 5, 7, 10; Psalm 107:1). This I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

May you be blessed with God's Word.
Maraming salamat.
