The Lord will choose.

Deuteronomy 17
10 You must act according to the decisions they give you at the place the Lord will choose. Be careful to do everything they instruct you to do.

John 15
16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.


You must have listened to the song, "I Can Only Imagine" or have seen the movie.




The Lord our God is sovereign.


We are the work of His hand.

Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
    We are the clay, you are the potter;
    we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8

He chooses whom He will have mercy.


He chose us through His Son Jesus.


When I first looked through the lyrics of the above-mentioned song, in my mind it sounded like a hymnal.



The life of Bart Millard delivers a powerful message of hope with those who seek reassurance in the face of the insurmountable.

You must have also heard the hymnal, "Blessed Assurance".

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of his Spirit, washed in His blood

In the face of the insurmountable, we have the blessed assurance in Jesus Christ.

Jesus chose us and appointed us so that we might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever we ask in His name the Father will give us.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
