Numbers 11
21 But Moses said, “Here I am among six hundred thousand men on foot, and you say, ‘I will give them meat to eat for a whole month!’”
13 “Where can I get meat for all these people? They keep wailing to me, ‘Give us meat to eat!’”
23 The Lord answered Moses, “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”
Matthew 19
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Quail From the Lord
Numbers 11
4 The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said, “If only we had meat to eat!”
Now a wind went out from the Lord and drove quail in from the sea. It scattered them up to two cubits deep all around the camp, as far as a day’s walk in any direction.
All that day and night and all the next day the people went out and gathered quail. No one gathered less than ten homers. Then they spread them out all around the camp.
But while the meat was still between their teeth and before it could be consumed, the anger of the Lord burned against the people, and he struck them with a severe plague. Numbers 11:31-33
The Lord is God of all mankind.
Jeremiah 32
26 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
27 “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
The Lord is God of the impossible.
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:8, 11-12, 6
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
The Lord our God is Savior.
Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,
nor his ear too dull to hear. Isaiah 59:1
“The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 NIV MIT
Ephesians 2
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
One day, my children's children will say, wala ka sa Lolo ko; for him, surely the arm of the Lord is not too short, He is mighty to save.
""Who is like you, LORD God Almighty? You, LORD, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you. Your arm is endowed with power; your hand is strong, your right hand exalted. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, LORD. For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Praise be to the LORD forever! Amen and Amen" (Psalm 89:8, 13, 15, 17; 77:11, 15; 89:52). Lord God, nothing is too diffult, nothing is impossible with You; Yours are power and majesty, in Jesus' name. Amen.
29 January 2018"
May you be blessed with God's Word.
Maraming salamat.
