90. Wala ka sa Lolo ko. For him, by God's grace, with faith in his heart, he will remain in the love of Christ.

1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—
2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s GRACE that was given to me for you,
3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.
16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
17a so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through FAITH.
17b And I pray that you, being rooted and established in LOVE,
18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Let me share my reflection 26 September 2017.
“Grace, faith, love.
During prayer at church one time, I said we are blessed that at Proclaim His Name Christian Fellowship we have grace, faith and love.
There is Grace Fernandez, one member; there is Grace Hibionada, the wife of Pastor Ian....hehehe.
There is Faith, a youth leader; there is Love, a.k.a. Lovella Capuchino, a member of our open cell.
So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church (1 Corinthians 14:12).
“Lord, sustain me with Your GRACE, that I live a life worthy of the FAITH and the spiritual gift I have received (Ephesians 4:1). Lead me by the Holy Spirit, that I speak the truth in LOVE (Ephesians 4:15), continually renew in the attitude of my mind (Ephesians 4:23); to put on a new self in God's righteousness (Ephesians 4:24), and bearing fruit of the Spirit, being kind and compassionate, and forgiving to another just as You have forgiven me (Ephesians 4:32). This I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.””

From Book "Heroes" by Dr. Harold J. Sala, pages 274 - 276, summarized.
“It was the last days of July 1941 in the Auschwitz concentration camp. A prisoner escaped from Block 14, the remaining six hundred men were forced to stand on the parade ground under the broiling sun.
The deputy commander Fritsch barked, "The fugitive has not been found. In reprisal, 10 of you will die by starvation. Next time it will be 20."
One of the 10 men selected, Franciszek Gajowniczek, a Polish army sergeant, was sobbing, "My wife and my children."
Suddenly a Polish Franciscan priest, Maximillian Kolbe, pushed his way to the front as S.S. guards sighted their rifles on his chest.
"I want to talk to the commander," he said, looking Fritsch straight in the eye.
"Herr Kommandant, he began without faltering, "I wish to make a request, please."
"What do you want?" barked the commanant.
"I want to die in place of this prisoner", pointing to the sobbing Gajowniczek. "I have no wife and no children. Besides, I'm old and not good for anything."
There was absolute silence, but soon it was broken with the words, "Request granted!"
Maximillian Kolbe died of starvation in place of a man who bore the sentence of death.
In all probability God will never, never ask you to make the decision that Maximillian Kolbe made, yet He does ask you to make a decision of your own, because real love demands your personal sacrifice for someone else. Remember, friend, it was Jesus Christ, Himself who gave Himself freely and without compensation that we might live eternally.”
It is by GRACE that I have been saved through FAITH - it is the gift of God, the LOVE in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8).
My children's children will someday say, wala ka sa Lolo ko; for him, by God's grace, with faith in his heart, he will remain in the love of Christ. Amen.
