Wala ka sa Lolo ko....as the joke story goes.
“I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.” (Luke 7:43).
Wala ka sa Lolo ko.....dalawa ang anak sa Ateneo....isa nagtitinda ng mais.....isa nagtitinda ng mani.
I boast in the Lord. I was rock bottom, and yet God orchestrated things beyond my wildest imagination. That is God, forgiving of all my failures, my sins, masyado noon akong bilib sa sarili.
Wala ka sa Lolo ko. To family and friends whom are God-sent, from the bottom of my heart, wala ako kung wala kayo. To God be the glory. Amen.
P.S. My only son, the youngest, after two daughters, who graduated from UP, also gives me so much joy having two boys with my surname.
“I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.” (Luke 7:43).
Luke 7
Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman
40 Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”
“Tell me, teacher,” he said.
41 “Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
42 Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”
43 Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.”
“You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.
Luke 7
44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet.
46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.
47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

From Wikipedia.
There is no doubt. The Lord Jesus worked a miracle in my life, miracle of healing, miracle of financial provision by way of scholarship for my two daughters Vannie and Patty. There is no explanation for these but only the Lord's compassion for the prayer of a brokenhearted man in me. Amen. To God be the glory.
Psalm 118
18 The Lord has chastened me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.
17 I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
28 You are my God, and I will praise you;
you are my God, and I will exalt you. Amen.
Amen!
