Let all creation rejoice before the Lord. (Psalm 96:13)

Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

From crosswalk website /special-coverage/easter/why-is-it-called-good-friday.html

"For Christians, Good Friday is a crucial day of the year because it celebrates what we believe to be the most pivotal day in the history of the world. On Good Friday, Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (1 John 1:10).

D.A. Carson wrote, "It was not nails that held Jesus to that wretched cross; it was his unqualified resolution, out of love for his Father, to do his Father’s will—and it was his love for sinners like me." It is a good day because he traded places for you and for me. It is a good day because it was the day he conquered sin and death so that we will never be apart from God on this side of heaven or the other."

Creation.

We are made in God's image and likeness.

I was conceived around Christmas time in 1959, I was born 9 months later, 25 September 1960.

I was a small dot of the more than 26 million Filipinos, and of the more than 3 billion world population that time.

I am now even a minute dot of the more than 100 million Filipinos, and of the more 7 billion world population.

2 Corinthians 5
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Psalm 139
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

The Lord Jesus died on the cross for you and me.

Romans 5
7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Because there is Good Friday, we can celebrate Easter Sunday.

Let all creation rejoice before the Lord. (Psalm 96:13) Amen.

Sharing my prayer, part of my reflection 10 November 2017.

"Lord, I "Remember my Creator in the days of my youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when I will say, "I find no pleasure in them" - before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain; when people are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags itself along and desire no longer is stirred. Then people go to their eternal home and mourners go about the streets." I "Remember him - before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and my spirit returns to God who gave it. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind" (Ecclesiastes 12:1, 2, 5-7, 13). Lord, Your name be glorified in all the earth, this I pray in Jesus' name. Amen."

Let all the Earth rejoice
All the Earth rejoice.

"Wala ka sa Lolo ko. For him, let all creation rejoice before the Lord.", this my children's children will say one day.

May you be blessed with God's Word. Amen.

Maraming salamat.
