78. Wala ka sa Lolo ko. For him, gratitude, praise, worship, the language of the love of God's redeemed.

1 Corinthians 13
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
As the song goes.
Love in any language
Straight from the heart

Throwback 2012.
Love Straight from the Heart: Couple Talk, Valentine offering of Proclaim His Name Christian Fellowship.
This is what I wrote 12 September 2017 and which I updated.
“Here is a photo of Pastor Clem and Ate Merlyn for the event.
The event, for married couples and couples getting married, had sequels in the following years.
2012 was the first edition; I had the privilege to work with Teddy Lee, among others, whom I endear to call Pastor Teddy, now an elder at a Filipino Christrian Church in Carson City CA. He was the financial mind and I did the planning.
We started working out things about eight months before the event.
That time, I should say I was halfway my healing from anxiety illness I contracted in 2008 due to severe allergy to antibiotics. It must be that I would take Xanor when I get tense.
Working on the project, it was a way for me to pay back God for His compassion, for His faithfulness. Years back, I was out of work and got severe illness, when our children were starting college. Yet back then, we lacked nothing, God provided for our needs, sent people to help my family, and restored me physically and spiritually.
Here are the video promoting the event and the video showing the highlights of the event.
Gratitude for the Father's love. When I became a Christian at 44, one song I first listened to:
Apostle Paul's missionary work planting the early churches across the world was in gratitude for God's mercy for him; he called himself the chief of sinners having persecuted the early believers, before he encountered the Lord Jesus after His resurrection.
Compassion, faithfulness, grace and mercy, the language of the love of God.
Gratitude, praise, worship, the language of the love of God's redeemed. Love in any language, straight from the heart.
“Lord, I have experienced being shown grace and mercy by God; You first loved me and I learned to show my love for You in return (1 John 4:19). God demonstrated His own love for me in this: While I was still a sinner, Christ died for me (Romans 5:8). Lord, please accept my praises and thanksgiving, Yours is the glory and the honor, in Jesus' name. Amen.””
Psalm 71 (ISV)
23 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you, whose life you have redeemed.
Now here, from the man who spoke during the above-mentioned event.
“Serving People
Rev. Clem E. Guillermo:
A Passion for Counseling
The counseling ministry demands so much time, effort and even financial resources from Kuya Clem. And yet, he greatly enjoys his ministry even though it takes him deep into the night or in the remotest of provinces.
"As long as God gives me my health, I can't imagine not wanting to do counseling", he reveals. "Being a pastor and a counselor is such a precious calling, such treasures, we only get to hold them for a little while. My prayer most nights is, God, please give me one more day of doing this and give me one more chance to do it well, to do it excellently for the Filipino family." Heart Line is unique and has outlasted other radio counseling programs because it has a mission. It started to meet people's needs. It is not just an "on-air" experience. It has a heart.
And the program will continue to heal families and broken relationships as long as counselors like Kuya Clem remain true to their mission of having a heart in meeting the family's needs.”
I had the rare privilege to get upclose and personal with Kuya Clem, the man of God, who did speak Love Straight from the Heart. Serving God. Serving People.
I was a beneficiary of Kuya Clem. I do a good turn.
My children's children will one day say, wala ka sa Lolo ko; for him, gratitude, praise, worship, the language of the love of God's redeemed.
Let's express love in any language straight from the heart. The Lord will surely be pleased. Amen.
Maraming salamat.
