Wala ka sa Lolo ko. He has a mansion in Heavenly Hills.

The address is John 14:2 NKJV.

Beverly Hills is for the rich and famous.

Heavenly Hills is for the poor and lowly in spirit. (Matthew 5:3)

One day, my children's children will say, wala ka sa Lolo ko, he has a mansion in Heavenly Hills.

Yet for my claim for a mansion in heaven, I may be accused of being a boast. Ang yabang mo naman.

The Bible is very clear. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

“Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.” (Luke 13:30)

The Apostle Paul, then Saul the Pharisee, started wrong, yet he finished strong. The opposite was King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, he turned back against the Lord despite He appeared to him twice.

Charles Templeton started a much better evangelist than Billy Graham, yet Templeton declared himself agnostic later in his life.

“When someone invites you to a wedding feast, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” (Luke 14:10-11 Paraphrase)

Yet in all these things, it is all by God's grace, for the Lord has said, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. (Romans 9:15-16)

Rock bottom! After that, anything else is better, everything else is a bonus. A bonus is a gift, one need not work for it, it is given through the generosity of the Giver. Grace is a gift, an undeserved favor. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound.

If one worked for something, that is, one exerted effort, then it is called wage.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

So I can only entreat for God's grace, to keep me faithful to the very end. I put my faith in Christ Jesus and no other.

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”  (Hebrews 11:6)

He rewards with a heavenly mansion, it is a gift from the Most Generous Giver. Amen.

Luke 13
The Narrow Door
22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem.
23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”
He said to them,
24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.
30 Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

Luke 14
8 “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited.
9 If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place.
10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests.
11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

    2. Forever grateful to Mommy and Daddy for the unspoken words, not asking me where I would get money for college of my children when I was out of work over half of five years. I also know, they prayed for me. Also, something our children know, how affectionate I am to Mommy and Daddy, in gratitude for God's grace on me. I love ❤ you very much Hon.
