YoutuTube Video: A Husband's Tribute,
To whom this greetings may come:
Today the third day of August is the birthday of my Dad, Tatay, who my children fondly called Lolo Ofring, he passed away some years ago.
To commemorate this particular day, let me share the story of his son, who is not my brother, as the joke about Boris Johnson goes; if you have not heard it just let me know.
Few days ago, July 17 my wife, Maria Lourdes or Marlou, reached ....sweet sixty...and I am sharing my tribute for the 25 years (plus about 13 years that we got to know each other). "Endearing" that is, for every year without exception, at the same time "Enduring" that is for every such year, simply because of the enduring love of God all these years with which life, from the very start of our boyfriend-girlfriend romance, we look back as we rediscover, and keep aflame, the intimacy now at this stage as superlolo and superlola, with five grandchildren in a span of four years at that.
I wish to plug the Sunday message of our dear Pastor Al, Relationship With Spouse, on the theme for the month of August, Family Chat.
Please spare me your 15 minutes for the attached video and I guarantee you will feel....yung kilig...of your own romantic years; if otherwise, just let me know and I will make full refund for every second of your 15 minutes even in foreign currency.
Life has been so good all these years and God's promise to me is that He will sustain it to the very end. To those going through pain and tears with their marriage, take heart, for that only means we are all alive, here on earth, and should be thankful for that, otherwise if "no more pain, no more tears" then it is Revelation times.
Married life is indeed a bed of roses, with the thorns, otherwise roses are not roses.
A husband is stuck with the wife of his youth, and a wife with the husband of her youth, likewise at that; in which case, there is no otherwise. The fruit of perseverance is sweet.
May this bless you. Amen.
